Helping Children Thrive Through Cultural Transitions.

Moving abroad, returning to their homeland, living between two cultures: for children, this is often more than they can put into words. Some withdraw. Some become angry, quiet, or suddenly withdrawn again. Others appear cheerful on the outside – but aren't inside. You are a mother, father, grandparent, teacher, godparent, English as a Second Language (ESL) specialist, au-pair, or simply someone who loves this child and notices they are struggling. You want to help but aren't sure how. That's exactly what we're here for.
«Moving Cultures - your Adventure» is a creative workbook (in process of being translated to english) for children, who are currently experiencing, or have experienced, a cultural transition—whether through emigration, immigration, returning to their home country, a planned relocation, forced displacement, or regular moves between cultures.
Through creative activities, reflection exercises, game ideas, the story of the chameleon, and more, the book helps Third Culture Kids (TCKs) understand, express, and process their feelings—in their own time and through their own words and images.
Expat children do not need to be able to explain their experiences in order to process them. They can draw, write, create, paste, imagine, and dream—gradually finding their footing again along the way.
This workbook is suitable for:
-
Parents who want to support their child at home
-
Teachers and EAL/ESL specialists working with newcomer students
-

Individual Coaching for Professionals and Caregivers -
Learn how you can provide support.
Do you know and support a Third Culture Kid (TCK) – a child who is caught between cultures and suffers from the changes?
It's quite possible that you feel overwhelmed and don't know exactly how you can help further.
In individual coaching sessions, we accompany you, listen, assess the situation, and work with you to develop concrete strategies for supporting your child. What is your child telling you through their behavior? What do they truly need right now? And how can you, as their caregiver, be relieved of some of the burden while still being effectively present?
Our coaching is solution-oriented and geared towards the reality of your everyday life – short, clear and with immediately actionable impulses for you and your child.
The coaching helps you if, for example, the child:
-
withdrawn or withdrawn since the move
-
is more often angry, anxious, or clingy than before
-
refuses to adapt to the new environment or language
-
struggles to reconcile old and new identities
-
It seems to "work" on the outside, but you sense that something is wrong.
For whom: Teachers and caregivers, au pairs, grandparents, sports teachers, neighbors and everyone who accompanies a child through a cultural change – individually or as a team around the child.
Format: Individual online coaching, bookable as needed. 160 euros/hour
